Day 1: Arrival in Malaysia | Transfer to Malacca (-/-/-)

You arrive at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, where you are warmly welcomed by your licensed local guide before beginning your overland journey south to the historic city of Malacca. As you travel through the Malaysian countryside, you are gently introduced to the landscapes, culture, and rhythm of the country. 

Upon arrival, you check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, allowing time to relax after your journey and settle into Malaysia’s historic heartland.

Day 2: Malacca Heritage Immersion | Culture, Faith & Living Traditions (B/-/-)

After breakfast, you begin a deep cultural exploration of Malacca’s layered history. You discover the Stadthuys and Christ Church, remarkable examples of Dutch colonial architecture, before ascending St. Paul’s Hill to visit the ruins of St. Paul’s Church, the oldest church structure in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. 

You continue to the iconic A Famosa (Porta de Santiago), a surviving gateway from the Portuguese era, before visiting the Sultanate Palace Museum, where you gain insight into the traditions, governance, and daily life of the historic Malacca Sultanate. 

Your journey then takes you to the Portuguese Settlement, home of the Kristang community — a unique Eurasian culture formed from Portuguese, Malay, and Asian heritage. Walking through the settlement, you experience a living cultural enclave shaped by language, faith, music, and cuisine. 

In the evening, you enjoy a scenic Malacca River Cruise, gliding past illuminated heritage buildings, colourful shophouses, and Kampung Morten — Malaysia’s oldest traditional Malay village — before returning to your hotel for rest.

Day 3: Malacca – Kuala Lumpur | Multicultural Encounters (B/-/-)

After breakfast, you explore Malacca’s old quarters, beginning with Harmony Street, where Hindu temples, mosques, and Chinese temples stand side by side — a powerful symbol of Malaysia’s multicultural harmony. 

You continue through Jonker Street, known for its local delicacies, handicrafts, heritage shops, and vibrant street culture, before visiting the Chitty Village, home of the Hindu Peranakan (Chetti Melaka) community — a rare cultural fusion of Indian, Malay, and Chinese heritage preserved for centuries. 

In the afternoon, you travel overland to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s modern capital, where you check in to your hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening.

Day 4: Kuala Lumpur | Countryside & City Icons (B/-/-)

You begin your day with a visit to the sacred Batu Caves, one of Southeast Asia’s most important Hindu pilgrimage sites, set within dramatic limestone cliffs. 

You then visit the Selangor Pewter Factory, where you gain insight into Malaysia’s traditional craftsmanship and metalwork heritage. 

In the afternoon, you explore Kuala Lumpur’s iconic landmarks, including the Petronas Twin Towers, Merdeka Square, the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, Masjid Jamek Mosque, and Central Market — blending colonial history, Islamic heritage, and modern city life into one seamless experience..

Day 5: Kuala Lumpur – Ipoh | Cave Temples & Heritage Lanes (B/-/-)

After breakfast, you travel north toward Ipoh, stopping to explore Malaysia’s famous cave temples. You visit Kek Lok Tong, a dramatic limestone sanctuary that opens into a hidden zen garden, offering a rare fusion of spirituality and natural beauty.

You continue to Concubine Lane, a historic heritage street now transformed into a lively cultural quarter filled with cafés, boutiques, and local flavours. In the evening, you check in to your retreat and enjoy a unique dining experience set within a natural cave environment.

Day 6: Ipoh – Penang | Orangutan Conservation Experience (B/-/-)

After a relaxed morning, you journey toward Penang, stopping at Bukit Merah for a boat journey to the Semanggol Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre. 

Here, you observe rescued orangutans in a protected natural habitat and learn about conservation, rehabilitation, and wildlife protection efforts. This immersive experience connects you directly with Malaysia’s biodiversity and environmental preservation initiatives. 

You continue onward to Georgetown, Penang, and check in to your hotel.

You ascend Penang Hill by funicular railway, entering a cool, forested ecosystem rich in biodiversity. You explore elevated rainforest walkways and panoramic viewpoints, enjoying sweeping views across Penang Island and the Andaman Sea. 

In the afternoon, you visit Kek Lok Si Temple, Southeast Asia’s largest Buddhist sanctuary, a vast terraced complex crowned by a towering statue of Kuan Yin and a pagoda that blends Chinese, Thai, and Burmese architectural traditions. You return to your hotel for a restful evening.
