Day 1 | Arrival in Siem Reap
Upon arrival in Siem Reap, you will be warmly welcomed by your escort guide and driver and transferred to your hotel for check-in. The afternoon is free at leisure to recover from your journey. In the evening, enjoy a delicious Khmer set dinner at the renowned Chanrey Tree restaurant, followed by a leisurely stroll through the lively Pub Street area, where cafés, boutiques, and bars line the vibrant promenade.

Day 2 | Angkor Temples Discovery
An optional early start can be arranged for sunrise at Angkor Wat (extra charge), a magical experience as the first rays of light illuminate the ancient temple. After breakfast, set off at 8:00am to explore the Angkor Archaeological Park, beginning at the South Gate of Angkor Thom and continuing to the Bayon Temple, famed for its serene stone faces. Discover the temples of Baphuon, Phimeanakas, the Terrace of the Elephants, and the Terrace of the Leper King. Next, visit atmospheric Ta Prohm, where giant tree roots embrace the ruins in dramatic fashion, famously featured in the film Tomb Raider. A Khmer set lunch will be served at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, explore the majestic Angkor Wat itself, Cambodia’s national treasure and the largest religious monument in the world. Your guide will bring to life its rich history, architectural masterpieces, and exquisite carvings. Toward sunset, you may choose to climb Phnom Bakheng Hill for panoramic views (often crowded, with a 25-minute walk uphill), or opt for a serene gondola ride along the Angkor moat, watching the golden light fade across the ancient city (extra charge)

Day 3 | Tonle Sap & Siem Reap City Tour

After breakfast, drive out to the shores of Tonle Sap Lake to visit the floating village of Kompong Phluk. En route, stop at Rolous Market to observe daily trading before boarding your boat through the village canals. Glide past wooden houses on stilts, see families fishing, and witness the unique way of life on the water. A short canoe trip through the mangroves (seasonal) provides a peaceful experience, and you will emerge into the vast expanse of the Tonle Sap Lake..

Return to Siem Reap for lunch (on your own arrangement) before exploring Artisan d’Angkor, a center preserving traditional Khmer crafts such as silk weaving and stone carving. Continue to the bustling Old Market and the leafy Royal Residence Garden. In the evening, enjoy a special dinner accompanied by a traditional Apsara dance performance, bringing to life Cambodia’s graceful classical art form.

Day 4 | Overland to Phnom Penh

After breakfast, transfer to the bus terminal and board the Giant Ibis coach for your journey to Phnom Penh (direct service with no stops). Alternatively, guests may choose a private car or minivan transfer (extra charge), which allows for scenic stops along the way, such as the 12th-century Kampong Kdei Bridge (Spean Praptos) and Skun Village, famous for its exotic deep-fried snacks.

Arrive in Phnom Penh, where your local guide will greet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 5 | Phnom Penh City Tour & Sunset Boat Cruise
Begin your sightseeing at 8:00am with a photo stop at the Independence Monument before visiting Choeung Ek, one of Cambodia’s most somber memorials, to learn about the country’s tragic history. Continue to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21), once a high school turned detention center during the Khmer Rouge period. Afterwards, enjoy a stroll through the colorful Russian Market before lunch at a riverside restaurant.

In the afternoon, visit the opulent Royal Palace and its adjoining Silver Pagoda, adorned with over 5,000 silver tiles. Continue to Wat Phnom, the city’s namesake hilltop temple steeped in legend. You may also choose to visit the National Museum, home to a rich collection of Khmer art and antiquities, though this can be skipped if you prefer. End the day with a relaxing sunset boat ride along the Mekong and Tonle Sap rivers, taking in Phnom Penh’s golden skyline. On weekends, the riverside night market is also worth a visit.

Day 6 – Phnom Penh – Sihanoukville - Koh Rong (Long Set Beach)
After breakfast, travel by road to Sihanoukville and continue by speedboat to the island of Koh Rong, renowned for its pristine white-sand beaches and crystal-clear turquoise waters. Upon arrival, check in at Long Set Resort, beautifully located on Long Set Beach. Spend the afternoon at leisure, relaxing on the beach, swimming in the warm sea, or exploring the tranquil shoreline. In the evening, enjoy a beachfront dinner while watching the sun set over the Gulf of Thailand.

Overnight in Koh Rong

Day 7 – Island Retreat & Activities

Wake up to the gentle sound of waves and enjoy breakfast with an ocean view. Spend the day at your own pace, enjoying the idyllic beauty of Koh Rong. Swim, snorkel, or kayak in the gentle waves, or simply relax under swaying palms with a book in hand. For those wishing to explore further, optional excursions such as island-hopping boat trips or diving can be arranged. As the sun sets, watch the beach glow in golden light before night falls and bioluminescent plankton sparkle in the waters, a natural wonder unique to Koh Rong.

Day 8 – Koh Rong – Koh Rong Samloem
After breakfast, transfer by local speedboat to Koh Rong Samloem, known for its tranquil atmosphere and pristine beaches. Check in at your resort and spend the day swimming, snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, or simply unwinding on the quiet beach. Dinner at the resort.
Day 9 – Departure
After breakfast, take a speedboat back to Sihanoukville and continue by road to Phnom Penh Airport for your onward flight.
