Upon arrival at the Vietnam–Cambodia border at Ha Tien Border Crossing, you will complete immigration formalities and be warmly welcomed by your English-speaking guide on the Cambodian side at Prek Chak Border Gate. You will then begin your overland journey to Phnom Penh, enjoying scenic views of the Cambodian countryside along the way, passing through local villages, rice fields, and rural landscapes. Upon arrival in Phnom Penh, check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to relax after your journey.

Day 2: Phnom Penh Highlights – Overland to Siem Reap (B/L/-)

After breakfast, begin your exploration of Phnom Penh’s key landmarks. Visit Wat Phnom, the city’s founding temple, followed by the magnificent Royal Palace Phnom Penh and the nearby Silver Pagoda, showcasing classic Khmer architecture and royal heritage. A short stop at the Independence Monument offers a glimpse into Cambodia’s modern history.

After the city tour, depart overland to Siem Reap. Along the way, enjoy Cambodia’s countryside scenery and stop at Skun Market, known for its local snacks and unique culinary specialties.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant along the highway. Continue your journey with a stop at the historic Spean Praptos Kampong Kdei Bridge, an impressive stone bridge from the Angkorian era, perfect for photos. Arrive in Siem Reap in the late afternoon and check in to your hotel. In the evening, explore the lively atmosphere of Pub Street and the nearby Siem Reap Riverside Night Market.

Day 3: Angkor Temples Discovery & Cultural Evening (B/L/D)

Explore the iconic Angkor Wat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the spiritual symbol of Cambodia.
Explore the iconic Angkor Wat, followed by the ancient city of Angkor Thom, including the impressive Bayon Temple with its enigmatic smiling faces, as well as Baphuon, Phimeanakas, and the Terraces of the Elephants and the Leper King.

In the afternoon, visit the atmospheric Ta Prohm, where ancient ruins intertwine with giant tree roots.
The day concludes with a cultural evening featuring a traditional Apsara dance performance accompanied by dinner, offering a glimpse into Cambodia’s classical arts and heritage.

Day 4: Full-Day Phnom Kulen Waterfall and Kbal Spean sacred site (B/L/-)

After breakfast, depart for an excursion to Phnom Kulen National Park, one of Cambodia’s most sacred natural sites.

Drive through rice paddies and palm-lined countryside, with a brief stop at a local market to observe fresh produce and traditional goods. Continue up the mountain to visit Preah Ang Thom, home to a giant reclining Buddha and panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Proceed to Kbal Spean, known as the “River of a Thousand Lingas” where intricate carvings can be seen beneath the riverbed. Afterward, continue to the Kulen waterfall, where you may relax, swim, or simply enjoy the natural surroundings.

On the return journey, stop at Poeng Ta Kho Cliff, a dramatic sandstone cliff offering breathtaking panoramic views over the surrounding forest and plains, an ideal spot for memorable photos. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. On the return journey, if time permits, stop at Preah Dak village, known for palm sugar production and traditional handicrafts, offering a glimpse into rural Cambodian life. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon.
