Day 1 Arrival in Mandalay – Amarapura – Pyin Oo Lwin (-/-/D)
Welcome to Myanmar! Upon arrival at Mandalay International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by your local English-speaking guide and begin your journey towards the charming hill town of Pyin Oo Lwin. En route, make your first stop at Maha Shwe Thein Daw Pagoda, a unique and spiritually significant site where the stupa is enshrined within a temple structure. This pagoda is widely revered by local devotees who come to offer coconuts, bananas, and other symbolic items while praying for their wishes to be fulfilled. The strong local belief in its spiritual power makes it one of the most meaningful pilgrimage sites in the region.
Continue to Amarapura to visit the remarkable Kyauksein (Jade) Pagoda, an extraordinary structure constructed entirely from jade. Rising to an impressive height, this pagoda is considered the world’s first of its kind and stands as a testament to Myanmar’s rich jade heritage and craftsmanship. After your visit, proceed to Pyin Oo Lwin, a former British colonial hill station known for its cool climate and charming landscapes. Upon arrival, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before checking in to your hotel.

Day 2 Pyin Oo Lwin – Naung Cho Excursion & Garden Town Experience (B/L/D)
After breakfast, set out on a scenic drive towards Naung Cho, a small town surrounded by lush countryside. Visit Peikchin Myaung Cave, a fascinating limestone cavern that extends deep into the mountainside and houses numerous Buddha images along its interior, creating a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere.
Continue to Taung Pulu Pagoda, perched on a hilltop. To reach the summit, you will change to a local truck for an adventurous ride up the mountain. From the top, enjoy sweeping panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes, offering a refreshing contrast to the lowlands.
After lunch at a local restaurant, return to Pyin Oo Lwin and begin exploring its colonial-era charm. Visit the Governor’s House, a reminder of the town’s British heritage, followed by a stop at Mahar Ant Htoo Kan Thar Pagoda, a serene and elegant religious site. From here, enjoy a traditional horse cart ride to the beautiful Kandawgyi National Botanical Garden. Stroll through its well-maintained grounds, home to a wide variety of flowers, trees, and landscaped gardens, making it one of Myanmar’s most scenic and relaxing attractions. In the evening, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel.
