Day 1 Phnom Penh – Arrival (-/-/-)

You will be welcomed upon arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, you may relax or explore the city at your own pace.

Day 2 Full Day Phnom Penh City Tour (B/L/-)

After breakfast, you will meet your guide and begin your exploration of Phnom Penh. You will start with a visit to Wat Phnom, the historic temple that marks the founding place of the capital. You will then stop at the Independence Monument for a memorable photo opportunity before continuing to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and Choeung Ek Killing Fields to gain insight into Cambodia’s recent history.

After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, home to Cambodia’s royal heritage and impressive architecture. Spend the afternoon exploring either the Central Market or the Russian Market, where you can browse a wide variety of local products, handicrafts, and souvenirs. In the late afternoon, you can enjoy a relaxing walk along the riverside promenade, taking in the lively atmosphere of Phnom Penh.

Day 3 Phnom Penh – Battambang & Countryside Experience (B/-/D)

After breakfast, you will check out of your hotel and travel overland to Battambang, passing through scenic countryside dotted with rice fields and palm trees. Along the way, you will stop at a silver handicraft village and a pottery-making community in Kampong Chhnang to see traditional crafts in action.

In the afternoon, you will explore a traditional wooden house from the French colonial period, then visit Phnom Sampov (Phnom Sampeau) to explore its caves. Stay on the hillside as the sun sets and watch thousands of bats fly out of their caves, a truly unique experience. You will have dinner at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel.

Day 4 Battambang Tour – Siem Reap (B/L/-)

After breakfast, you will enjoy a fun ride on Battambang’s famous bamboo train, cruising through the scenic countryside. Then, you will explore the town, starting with Battambang Central Market (Phsar Nath), Wat Damrei Sor (Damrey Sor) (White Elephant Pagoda), the colonial-era bridge, and French-era buildings including the provincial museum and Governor’s residence (Sala Khaet or Lord Chhum’s Mansion), and store buildings.

After lunch, you will visit the Ta Dumbong statue, a local landmark with an interesting legend. Then, you will drive to Siem Reap, with the option to stop at a roadside stall to sample fried insects like crickets and grasshoppers if you are adventurous. Upon arrival, you will check in to your hotel and have free time to relax.

Day 5 Angkor Temples Exploration (B/L/-)

After breakfast, you will begin your guided exploration of the Angkor temple complex. You will marvel at Angkor Wat, the world’s largest religious monument, and then visit Ta Prohm, famous for its massive tree roots that surround the temple ruins.

After lunch near the temples, you will continue to Angkor Thom, visiting Bayon Temple with its 200 smiling faces, Baphuon, the Terrace of the Elephants, and the Terrace of the Leper King. You can stop at the South Gate for photos before returning to your hotel. If you wish, you can enjoy an optional sunset hike at Phnom Bakheng.

Day 6 Tonle Sap Lake & Siem Reap City Tour (B/L/D)

After breakfast, you will travel to Tonle Sap Lake to visit a floating village by boat. You will learn about the lake’s ecosystem and the way local communities live on the water.

Back in Siem Reap, you will have lunch at a local restaurant, then visit Artisans D’Angkor to see traditional crafts, explore the Old Market, and enjoy a stroll in the Royal Residence Garden. In the evening, you will enjoy a buffet dinner accompanied by a traditional Apsara dance performance.
